The American Red Cross First Aid CPR AED Training Course
The American Red Cross offers a First Aid CPR AED training course that provides students with the skills and knowledge necessary to respond to common first aid, CPR, and AED emergencies. This course is designed for those who have no previous medical training and covers topics such as how to recognize and treat common injuries and illnesses, how to perform CPR compressions and use an AED, and how to manage bleeding, burns, and breaks.
The course is offered in two formats: an online self-paced format and an in-person instructor-led format. The online self-paced format allows students to complete the course at their own pace and on their own time, while the in-person instructor-led format requires students to attend a scheduled class with an instructor. Both formats include a hands-on skills session where students practice their skills with an instructor.
