The American Red Cross offers a hands-only CPR training course that is open to the public. This course is designed to teach people how to perform CPR on an adult victim who has suddenly collapsed. The course is taught by certified Red Cross instructors and takes about two hours to complete.
What You Will Learn in the Course
The American Red Cross hands-only CPR training course will teach you the following skills:
• How to recognize the signs of a sudden cardiac arrest
• How to call 911
• How to perform chest compressions
• How to use an automated external defibrillator
After completing the course, you will receive a certificate of completion from the American Red Cross.
